Workshops & Events
Through participation in global humanitarian conferences, workshops, and panel discussions, we advocate for disability to be incorporated as a cross-cutting priority in in the humanitarian narrative and share the lessons learned, training materials, and practical tools developed throughout the project with the wider humanitarian community.
Our materials and guidelines are designed to help humanitarian actors make their programmes disability-inclusive. We will participate to major events such as the Global Disability Summit, the Humanitarian Congress Berlin (HCB), and the Humanitarian Network and Partnership Week (HNPW) — showcasing our innovative approaches, developed operational and programming tools in order to strengthen commitments toward disability-inclusive humanitarian response.
The Global Disability Summit 2025, held in April in Berlin, also marked the launch of Phase 4. More information about our contributions can be found in the dedicated subpage.
In addition to global engagement, we continue our capacity-strengthening activities and organize trainings and tool adaptation workshops in our project countries in East and West Africa, as well as sector-specific regional workshops. By investing in regional disability inclusion expertise and facilitating learning opportunities, we aim to ensure that the knowledge and tools developed are applied and contextualised beyond our project countries.
