We are excited to announce that our project, “Phase 4 – Leave No One Behind!” (LNOB), will be presented at the Global Disability Summit (GDS) 2025. The third Global Disability Summit will take place this week, on April 2nd – 3rd, 2025, in Berlin. As a pre-event to the summit, the Civil Society Forum will be held on April 1st, 2025.
We will showcase our Phase 4 – LNOB project activities and best practices at Booth B6 of Handicap International / Humanity & Inclusion (HI). As a disability expert organization in humanitarian emergencies, HI works to advance persons with disabilities’ access to services and meaningful participation in humanitarian and refugee responses.
We invite you to visit the booth to learn more about how we are advancing disability-inclusive humanitarian action. Our Phase 4 – LNOB Project Coordinator, the South Sudan Team’s Project Manager, the Disability Inclusion Coordinator/OPD & IDA representative, and HI’s Policy & Development Lead for Inclusive Humanitarian Action, Governance, and Protection will be at our booth to share insights on our work, including latest tools, guidances and case studies to make humanitarian programming more inclusive for persons with disabilities. These resources have been developed through cooperation with various humanitarian actors and OPDs, with support from the German Federal Foreign Office, Aktion Deutschland Hilft, and DG ECHO. All materials are also available online on our relaunched project website.
