Capacity Development

We provide capacity building and technical support to humanitarian actors at global, regional and national level so that they can design and deliver humanitarian assistance inclusive of persons with diverse disabilities.

Our goal: German and international humanitarian actors and their partners have access to established and new capacity development opportunities in line with the IASC Guidelines as well as technical support to operationalise these in their humanitarian programming. 

What We Do

Development and dissemination of sector-specific learning packages, and e-learning modules on inclusive humanitarian action in line with the IASC guidelines

In-house and cross-organisational trainings for German and international humanitarian actors and their local partners.

Collaboration with other capacity development initiatives to mainstream disability in their humanitarian trainings

Technical support to German humanitarian actors and International Organisations

Guest lectures and module supervision NOHA Master International Humanitarian Action and Bachelor on Emergency and Catastrophe Relief of Akkon University.
